Angie Downward , FNP

Angie joined the Reproductive Care Center team January of 2001. Since joining the team, Angie has assisted with new patient consultations and previously managed the Provo clinic. She enjoys assisting patients and especially enjoys educating them in their unique experience. She currently works part time as the educator teaching the IVF class. She was interested in this field due to her personal experience of infertility due to PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). In 2003 she was able to conceive a child after an IVF cycle and then again in 2005 with a frozen cycle. She also has two other children. She has been married for eighteen years and volunteers as Cubmaster.

Angie earned her BSN at BYU in 1990. She worked at St. Mark’s Hospital for 10 ½ years in a variety of settings including the diabetic/renal unit and ICU. During her time at St. Mark’s she served on the steering committee for Shared Governance, as acting director for three months, and as a charge nurse. Angie returned to BYU and received a MSN as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in 1998.
